MAN OF SORROWS

WRITTEN BY: Philip Paul Bliss in1875

"Man of Sorrows! What a Name" (also known as "Hallelujah! What a Saviour") is a classic Easter hymn. Based on Isaiah 53, it chronicles Christ's suffering, crucifixion, and resurrection, culminating in a celebration of redemption and the second coming.

And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me. Luke 22:19
