HAVE FAITH IN GOD

Mark 11:22. “Jesus said, “Have faith in God”.

When Jesus returns will He find faith? Luke 18:8.

In the days we are in and that which are ahead, faith will be tested! That is, our faith in God.

Jesus rebuked His disciples on several occasions, with the statement, “O you of little faith!” Matthew 6:30; 8:26; 14:31. In Mathew 24:10 He prophesied, “Many will turn away.” The going will get too tough for them to endure.

Faith is tested in and by adversity. A good example of this in the Bible is Job. “Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job? There is no-one on earth like him, he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil.”. What a testimony by God!

God does not send adversity. He allows it, with the promise that in it and through it, “I am with you, ALWAYS”. Those times are when we are carried by the Lord, who suffered the greatest of adversity for us and with us, and He is pleased to call us brothers and sisters.

The faith we hold is a gift from God, it is our assurance, a certain hope.

The disciples asked Jesus to “increase our faith” Luke 17:5.

If anyone lacks faith, let them ask for it, and surely it will be given you.
