Left to Their Own Devices is a stand-alone 2 hour session which allows people to gain an understanding of the online world that children inhabit today. We will be addressing the challenges it presents and there will be an opportunity to share your own experiences and ideas while receiving practical tips for understanding this world of screens.

The session will be delivered by Stuart & Jen Hunter.  Stuart and Jen are parents themselves and have been working with children for the last 20 years.

The course is ideal for parents, grandparents, carers, youth workers or anyone who works/looks after children, we’ll be exploring in more detail;

  • The impact of the digital world on teenagers and younger children

  • Practical advice on screen time, social media and consumer culture

  • Some of the more serious issues such as online bullying, grooming and pornography
