OUr
MINISTRIES

In addition to our Sunday morning services and other fellowship activities, we also aim to reach out to the community and show the love of God in as many ways as we can – through Messy Church or our exercise class, and the various special events we arrange throughout the year.

We provide teaching through Bible studies and sometimes have small study / discussion groups.  We also, on occasion,  run an Alpha Course, which is a great way for anyone to explore the meaning of life and the relevance of Christian faith today.

Wherever you are on your spiritual journey – even if you feel you’ve not started yet – TIMC has opportunities for you to search, to learn, to worship, and to work.

If you’re searching for truth and want to explore the Christian faith further, or if you’re a Christian who’s experienced doubts or simply let their faith lapse, or you’ve just moved into the area and are looking for a church to join – come and be part of that vision.

On this web site you can see some of the things we do.  We are an active church with a vision for the future – why not browse the site and then come and see for yourself?

You can also follow us on Facebook for up to date news and information.

Kid's Sunday Explorers

Come and join us at Sunday morning Explorers - 10.30 am every Sunday morning.  We will be exploring Bible values in a fun and exciting way.

Explorers (ages 8+)

Mini Explorers (ages 3-7)

(All our kid's leadership team go through an application process and a full Disclosure check).

Young Children on Sunday

We welcome all ages.  Parents of children can relax.  God put the 'wiggle' in your children so don't feel you have to suppress these 'wiggles' in God's house.  We have kid's activity bags that you can use during the service.

  • Consider sitting toward the front where it is easier for your little ones to engage

  • Quietly explain the parts of the service and actions of those at the front

  • Sing the hymns, pray & voice the responses children learn behaviour by mimicking you

  • If you have to leave the worship with your child, feel free to do so, but please come back.  As Jesus said, "Let the children come to me"

The Independent Methodist Connexion is a group of churches situated mainly in the North of England with others in Bristol, the Midlands and Ramsey on the Isle of Man.  Most of them bear the name "Independent Methodist", but a few have local names, often related to their origins.

Each of the churches is self-governing, but they are grouped into local circuits to provide help and mutual support to one another.  The churches together form the Independent Methodist Connexion, which acts as a spiritual and collective focal point.
